A Voice for People with Hearing Loss
Do you have a hearing loss and find it difficult to be a part of everyday life? Do you know what you can do to help yourself and some of the many services that may be available to you? At The Hearing Loss Association of America, our mission is to open the world of communication to people with hearing loss by providing information, education, support, and advocacy. HLAA provides adults and children with tools for help help; sensitizes the general population about the special needs of people who have hearing loss; and promotes understanding of the nature, causes, complications, and remedies of hearing loss. The Midlands Chapter is focused in and around the Columbia area, and as the only HLAA chapter in South Carolina, we want to help you become more informed on what options are available to you to help you deal with hearing loss.
